In a radio studio, they're doing an episode of the rural melodrama "The Bowmans"(a play on "The Archers"). Cast member Tony ad libs and can't keep in character. He's going to get sacked, so he tries to make the most of his final programme.

In Tony's seedy flat, he has a massive ham radio set up, which he wiles away time with talking to improbable foreigners. But when an opportunity to be a hero arises from a distress signal, Tony's not up to the challenge.

At BBC Television Centre, Tony and several others are trapped in a lift just as the workday is ending.For several hours he regales the his less than thrilled captive audience with mood-swinging tirades of philosophy and group singing.

Tony goes to donate blood,but typically, he turns it into an issue of status and class when he discovers he has a rare type. He bothers the hospital staff by insisting on updates as to who receives his elite blood.

Hancock flies to Switzerland for a skiing holiday.

Hancock gets a job as an air steward, but Sid is a passenger on his maiden flight.

Hancock discovers that the house Sid sold him backs onto an airfield.

Tony and Sid arrive back home after spending 3 months away traveling Europe, they are greeted at the front door by 400 bottles of milk because Sid forgot to cancel the milk delivery. As they enter the house, Tony finds out that wasn't the only thing Sid forgot to cancel and so decides to go on an economy drive to recoup the losses.

Sid wants to open a fish and chip shop and asks Hancock to invest his life savings. Hancock refuses and their friendship is in peril when both believe murder is afoot.

Tony's house is falling apart and he can't afford to do it up so with the help of Sid James they plan a way of getting the National Trust to do it up for them by saying Lord Byron lived there but when the trust say no, they decide to turn the home into a museum dedicated to the poet.

In Sidney Lumet's classic film, one courageous juror holds out and justice prevails. When Hancock is foreman of the Jury the outcome isn't quite so inspiring.

Sid lands Tony the role of Henry V in a festival in Yorkshire. To get there they must endure a long, boring train journey, but as bad as it is for Tony and Sid, spare a thought for the other passengers.

When Hancock's stocks and shares portfolio drops in price, he threatens to kill himself. But Sid points out that the East Cheam Building Society's AGM is this afternoon.

Hancock threatens to sack Sid as his agent unless he gets him a good part. Sid suggests a European tour.

Tony is playing for '8 Draws' in the old UK Football Pool much to Sid's contempt. Hancock only needs one more result to go his way to land the huge jackpot but the last game is a late kick off. The late game is Chelsea vs East Cheam United the boys decide to go to the game where trouble ensues as the lads cheer and try to manipulate the teams to get the lucrative draw.

Tony and Sid plan a big night out in East Cheam with two ladies which doesn't pan out as planned after Mrs Cravatte doesn't do her duties as expected, leaving the boys to their own devices.

Hancock and Sid decide to go on a relaxing cruise in search of romance. Hancock becomes convinced the ship is sinking and the captain has to take drastic measures.

Andy and Maggie are both extras in a serious genocide movie being shot by Ben Stiller in England; however, Andy isn't satisfied with his minuscule role, and so goes to the genocide witness Goran to try and get him a bigger part.

Andy and Maggie are this time working on an action movie starring Samuel L Jackson. Andy finds himself cornered into a friendship with an incredibly over-friendly middle-aged Welshman also working on the set. Maggie finds herself attracted to black actor Danny on set, but isn't sure how to talk to him because of his race.

Again Andy and Maggie are both extras on the same production, this time it's a period drama starring "hard-man" British actor Ross Kemp, who likes to play up to his tough persona. Another tough-guy actor, Vinnie Jones, is filming something nearby. When Andy brags to his rival, Greg, who's an extra on Jones' set, that Kemp could beat up Jones, the rivalry switches hands from the extras to the actors.

Andy and Maggie work on a Holocaust film that stars Kate Winslet.

Andy gets a role in a pantomime, starring opposite British TV presenter Les Dennis. As Dennis begins to approach a breakdown, Maggie gets to know the pantomime director's daughter, who appears to have had her life greatly warped by her parents.
