- 25 titles
- DirectorBrian De PalmaStarsJosh HartnettAaron EckhartScarlett JohanssonTwo policemen see their personal and professional lives fall apart in the wake of the "Black Dahlia" Elizabeth Short murder investigation.Sorriest ending for a film. EVER.
- DirectorJim JarmuschStarsBill MurrayJessica LangeSharon StoneAs the extremely withdrawn Don Johnston is dumped by his latest woman, he receives an anonymous letter from a former lover informing him that he has a son who may be looking for him. A freelance sleuth neighbor moves Don to embark on a cross-country search for his old flames in search of answers.Did not like the ending.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.Too many inconsistencies, too many changed up characters, the deal with M, and I just don't like Daniel Craig as Bond. Never seen M and Bond be so DUMB!
- DirectorYimou ZhangStarsZiyi ZhangTakeshi KaneshiroAndy LauA romantic police captain breaks a beautiful member of a rebel group out of prison to help her rejoin her fellows, but things are not what they seem. All this fighting over some broad.
- DirectorDavid KoeppStarsJohnny DeppMaria BelloJohn TurturroA successful writer in the midst of a painful divorce is stalked at his remote lake house by a would-be scribe who accuses him of plagiarism. One of the weirdest and most confusing movies. EVER.
- DirectorMartin BrestStarsBen AffleckJennifer LopezJustin BarthaLarry Gigli is assigned by a crime boss to kidnap the brother of a prominent district attorney, and a beautiful woman known only as Ricki is sent to stay with him to make sure he doesn't mess up the job.Was as bad as "they" said it was.
- DirectorChris ColumbusStarsHugh GrantJulianne MooreTom ArnoldWhen he finds out his longtime girlfriend is pregnant, a commitment-phobe realizes he might have to change his lifestyle for better or much, much worse.Julianne's character's hysteria over being pregnant, and thus trying to control every breath and movement around her, especially Hugh Grant's character, made me hate this movie.
- DirectorDoug LimanStarsBrad PittAngelina JolieAdam BrodyA husband and wife struggle to keep their marriage alive until they realize they are both secretly working as assassins. Now, their respective assignments require them to kill each other.Supposed to be an action film but came off as campy and silly.
- DirectorPhillip NoyceStarsVal KilmerElisabeth ShueRade SerbedzijaSimon "The Saint" Templar (Val Kilmer) is a thief for hire whose latest job to steal the secret process for cold fusion puts him at odds with a traitor bent on toppling the Russian government, as well as the woman who holds its secret. If they were trying to pay tribute to the TV show, they failed miserably.
- DirectorPeter SegalStarsJack NicholsonAdam SandlerMarisa TomeiDave Buznik is a businessman who is wrongly sentenced to an anger management program, where he meets an aggressive instructor.Stretches the realm of suspension of belief too far. Jack Nicholson's character belonged in prison for harassment and stalking.
- DirectorJames CameronStarsLeonardo DiCaprioKate WinsletBilly ZaneA seventeen-year-old aristocrat falls in love with a kind but poor artist aboard the luxurious, ill-fated R.M.S. Titanic. One hour of hackneyed romance and two hours of people dying. Yay.
- DirectorBrett RatnerStarsPatrick StewartHugh JackmanHalle BerryThe human government develops a cure for mutations, and Jean Grey becomes a darker uncontrollable persona called the Phoenix who allies with Magneto, causing escalation into an all-out battle for the X-Men.My favourite character Charles died!!
- DirectorJeremiah S. ChechikStarsRalph FiennesUma ThurmanSean ConneryTwo British Agents team up to stop Sir August de Wynter from destroying the world with a weather-changing machine.Ralph Fiennes's Mr. Steed was spot on but what the hell Uma Thurman thought she was doing as Mrs. Peel is beyond me. Thurman sunk the movie.
- DirectorOliver StoneStarsColin FarrellAnthony HopkinsRosario DawsonAlexander, the King of Macedonia and one of the greatest army leaders in the history of warfare, conquers much of the known world.Campy and unintentionally funny at times.
- DirectorMike NicholsStarsNatalie PortmanJude LawClive OwenThe relationships of two couples become complicated and deceitful when the man from one couple meets the woman of the other. The film shows Law & Roberts are meant to be together, as both would receive the love and respect they deserve but both characters stupidly go back to abusive spouses.
I hated Natalie Portman's over-spoiled character! And I hated how Jude Law just tolerated her games and control freaking like a moron. Also hated how Julia Robert's character stupidly settles for remaining a show dog for her husband. - DirectorMike NewellStarsJulia RobertsKirsten DunstJulia StilesKatherine Watson teaches art history in 1953 at the respectable all-female Wellesley College. She encourages her conservative students to question and disregard the outdated societal mores for women.Rather disappointed Julia's character has to leave her teaching job because some people were so afraid to step out of the line of conformity. No lessons here other than CONFORM.
- DirectorMike FiggisStarsNicolas CageElisabeth ShueJulian SandsBen Sanderson, a Hollywood screenwriter who lost everything because of his alcoholism, arrives in Las Vegas to drink himself to death. There, he meets and forms an uneasy friendship and non-interference pact with prostitute Sera.Nicolas Cage's character drinks himself to death while Elisabeth Shues character sits idly by and watches him die, all the while proclaiming him the love of her life.
- DirectorDavid FincherStarsJodie FosterKristen StewartForest WhitakerA divorced woman and her diabetic daughter take refuge in their newly-purchased house's safe room when three men break-in, searching for a missing fortune.Way too long and dragged out. Rather histrionic in parts.
- DirectorGeorge CotayoStarsEva LongoriaMaria BravoDavid Joseph MartinezCarlita's Secret begins with a young girl who unwittingly participates in a drug deal rip off. She goes into hiding from the police and the boyfriend she helped commit the rip off with. After years in hiding she becomes a successful nightclub performer under an assumed name. When a relentless detective reopens the investigation, Carlita is threatened with exposure. Will she run, or confront the ghosts from her past?Too campy, overacted, and the storyline falls apart at the end.
- DirectorBenny ChanStarsJackie ChanMichael HuiLouis KooThongs and Octopus accept a job from their landlord: kidnap a baby. Soon, the baby awakens strong paternal feelings in the two crooks, leading to complications when it comes to handing him over to his possibly crazy gang boss grandfather.Don't even remember why I hated this but it's remaining on this list...
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsTom HanksCatherine Zeta-JonesChi McBrideAn Eastern European tourist unexpectedly finds himself stranded in JFK airport, and must take up temporary residence there.Required too much suspension of belief. Like some dude is really gonna live unnoticed in an airport post 9/11?
- DirectorMichael DavisStarsClive OwenMonica BellucciPaul GiamattiA man named Mr. Smith delivers a woman's baby during a shootout, and is then called upon to protect the newborn from the army of gunmen.Just...ugh.
- DirectorKevin DonovanStarsJackie ChanJennifer Love HewittJason IsaacsA hapless chauffeur must take a comatose Secret Agent's place using his special gadget-laden tuxedo.A weird cross between martial arts and Inspector Gadget.
Second Jackie film to make the list. - DirectorGregory NavaStarsJennifer LopezEdward James OlmosJon SedaThe true story of Selena, a Texas-born Tejana singer who rose from cult status to performing at the Astrodome, as well as having chart-topping albums on the Latin music charts.Too many inconsistencies, too many scenes that never actually happened, and Jennifer Lopez was playing a person that was not Selena...Lopez did not encompass Selena's personality or her demeanour in any way...
- DirectorPete TravisStarsDennis QuaidForest WhitakerMatthew FoxThe attempted assassination of the American President is told and re-told from several different perspectives.I didn't think think film would ever stop rewinding and just get to the point.
