Il futuro rappresentato non è travisato da elementi superflui, che troppo spesso si riscontrano in altre pellicole. Come sottolinea il regista, il film sembra particolarmente realistico grazie al limitatissimo uso della CG, che permette di rendere situazioni a noi lontane incredibilmente verosimili. Una scena in particolare mi ha ricordato un momento del film "The Fury" del grande Brian De Palma: riferimento non voluto oppure si?
Bisogna soffermarsi anche su almeno altri due aspetti del film: trucco e colonna sonora. I truccatori hanno svolto un lavoro straordinario, per quanto possibile, nel trasformare Gordon-Levitt in un giovane Bruce Willis, a fini di sceneggiatura.
Per quanto riguarda la colonna sonora invece, il compositore ha adottato una particolare strategia che ben si adatta al contesto: i suoni che compongono le varie tracce sono singoli "rumori" quotidiani, tipici dell'ambiente urbano, sintetizzati e mixati egregiamente. 9+ - DirectorThomas VinterbergStarsMads MikkelsenThomas Bo LarsenAnnika WedderkoppA teacher lives a lonely life, all the while struggling over his son's custody.
