Pat Boone and Family Christmas Special presents a festive celebration of favorite holiday songs and comedic moments with The Hudson Brothers plus an array of ABC-TV stars: Norman Fell & Audra Lindley (Three's Company), Tom Bosley (Happy Days) and Gavin McLeod (The Love Boat) as well as Dinah Shore and Rosemary Clooney. Yogi Bear & Friends join in for It's Okay To Be A Kid At Christmas.

The first of Perry Como's Christmas specials includes appearances by Rich Little and figure skater Peggy Fleming as well as performances by the Carpenters and by Perry Como himself. Also featured a reenactment of the Birth of Jesus Christ.

For Andy's Christmas show, Bette Davis comes aboard to tout her new movie, and even sing a "Baby Jane" number! Debbie Reynolds joins him in the audience sing along portion, an early Osmonds appearance, and Andy, Bette and the Christy Minstrels combine for some folk songs and a square dance finale.

The Williams brothers perform a medley of Christmas tunes then harmonize with the Osmond siblings. Andy croons "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire." The Osmonds ice skate. Andy solos "Silent Night", the brothers return for "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

Danny welcomes guests Nat 'King' Cole, Mary Tyler Moore and The Clinger Sisters. Sketches include a parody of "The Student Prince" and another featuring Danny and Mary playing wealthy socialites.

Bing Crosby and his family spend Christmas at the estate of distant relative in England.
