Gay Themed Films That Are NOT Really A Gay Themed Film

Old habit die hard, this is tru in the case of Mikey (Simon Rex), a washed up porn star who seek refuge in the house of his estranged wife.

Everything seems going fine and that's when Mikey fumbles his life once again.

What I don't understand that this is recommended as LGBTQ film, when clearly it's not. Maybe because of the frontal nudity of Simon Rex which is not a basis.

This is a good movie but not that great. Simon Rex knows how to act.

Again to place this as gay themed, i disagree coz, the drag queens here portray real women and the lead role here is a Hetero woman.

Even the theme is not gay, it's about a fashion magazine journalist who is up for promotion and in order to to that, she must dig up some dirt in Christmas obsessed town.

I really want to like this, the dialogues are quite funny but the actors fails to deliver.

Just watch this when you nothing better to do

Story of a couple who hooks up on a weekends and trouble begins on a Monday. You have to really focus on the movies because of the complexities of their characters.

I don't know why some thought this was a gay themed film which is far from it.

I don't understand why this was included as gay themed film that some like to watch, the fact that this is a very straight film.

Maybe because of the male frontal nudity of Peter Vack (played the character Jack) who also appears in gay themed film (again as a straight guy).

This is a modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's play of the same title. The dialogues here are Shakespeare-ish. The female characters here are played by male actors, but it does not mean that this is Gay Themed.

I actually liked this film, the actors are all good, even better than some of mainstream actors. Cinematography is also quite good.

Worth the watch.

This more like the story that focused on Philip Hofman (Minne Koole) and his relationship with his college "House Brothers" especially to Matt (Jonas Smulders) and the gay Jacob (Chris Peters). Also his cheating.

This is a good story about reality check.

Gay subplot here but it does not qualify as gay themed.

The title of the movie is a directory for colored person where he can stay or eat if he is headed in the Deep South in the 60"s.

This film based on a true story tells the beautiful friendship of Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen) and Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) that started when Pianist Shirley hire Tony as his driver on his concert tour in the Deep South of USA.

It tackles on racism, that being famous does not means you can get whatever you want if you are black.

Although it was revealed (spoiler) that Don Shirley is gay in a single scene, This film is not gay themed.

I really enjoyed this film, laughing through myself. Viggo deserves all the acting nominations this 2019 and Mahershala deserved all that wins.

Although one of the daughter here is gay, still this is not a gay themed film.

This is a story of 3 parents who became concerned when they see the laptop flow of messages of their respective daughters who decided to lose their virginity on Prom Night. What follow is a comedic pursue to stop their daughters from doing it.

This is a love triangle between 2 straight male buddies and a woman. Nothing gay here and yet it is listed as LGBTQ interest maybe because of the platonic friendship between the two male friend.

Story is common with a bearable acting

Although one of the lead character here is gay in real life, this is NOT a gay themed film. This is a story of what transpire between American writer James Lord (Armie Hammer) and Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometti (Geoffrey Rush) when the latter asked the former to sit for a portrait.

Some may find this monotonous but personally I liked this film, actors are good and there are some lighthearted moments.

Although one of the main character here is bisexual then turn into a full time gay, still, I cannot considered this as gay themed but gay interest only since the story is evenly distributed to the 3 main actors who plays brothers in this film.

This is about the relationship of 3 brother with each other and with their respective personal lives after the death of their mother in the prequel.

It's a funny movie even when it's became serious

The role of Mathieu which is originally played by Claude Legault is now played by Patrice Robitaille

I don't know why I still bothered watching David DeCoteau's films, maybe I am just a masochist.

Acting is bearable while the direction is definitely not.

I don't know why this was included in Gay Themed, the fact there is nothing gay in this film not even a supporting gay role.

The film is nothing out of the ordinary teenage angst themed but give this a shot.

This movie is so funny (not in the lol style) but nevertheless funny.....both the lead actors played it well and so thus Michael Sheen who played a gay sports TV Host in UK.......

Although there is a strong gay innuendo here, still I cannot considered it as gay themed, since both the lead actors here are str8 in the film.....

I was surprised that an IMDb user listed this as gay themed film to watch so if that IMDb user happens to see this, crossed it off your list coz this is not a gay themed film......although there is once scene here that the 2 main characters go inside a gay bar to follow a man whom they think can help them seal the deal.....

Dan Trunkman (Vince Vaughn) angrily walk of from his job after a heated argument with his superior and so he form his own small business with Timothy (Tom Wilkinson) and Mike (Dave Franco) as his employee.....1 year after forming his business, Dan was on the verge of sealing a deal which means big profit for them.....but it was not meant to be and so he has to follow the person which will lead him to the big bosses.....

There are some funny moments in this film and some funny dialogues but that's it.....

Dicks (only the dicks) comes from extras in glory hole while they were in Germany.....

A group of eye candy male youth spending their time in underwears does not make a gay themed film as all of them are str8 in the movie.....

Plot (there is one) was wasted on this film and the estimated budget of 1M????? ridiculous...

Even the self touching is not erotic but tiresome...watched this till the end coz I'm praying that there would be a saving factor but unfortunately, there is none...so if anyone wished to see beautiful shirtless boys, just watch porn of Bel Ami or Corbin or Sean Cody...you'll be more satisfied.....
