This is a list of very early movies. Movie was not the same as we know it today. Novelist or Playwrights or the stage actors used to be the star those days. But the innovation during late 19th century changed everything. The thought was like this if electricity is well established, why not to use it for all purposes, like taking a photo make a man moving in a camera. However those days movies used to a minute long.
