A horror film that depicts St. Nicholas as a murderous bishop who kidnaps and murders children when there is a full moon on December 5.

The story of three torn apart families on the verge of Sinterklaasavond, the Dutch equivalent of Christmas Eve.

One of the first appearances of Sinterklaas (the original Dutch Santa Claus) on the Laat de Leeuw show of Paul the Leeuw. More years later Sinterklaas, performed by Bram van der Vlugt, appeared in future shows of Paul de Leeuw.

Mien was acting very jealous concerning Annie's diamond ring until she finds the present Koos has been hiding for the Sinterklaas celebration.

Koos insists on trying to fix an old record player, so Mien decides to buy a CD-player for St. Nicholas. But when she stores it in Lydie's closet, Hans finds it and assumes it's for him.

Dr. Lydie and family receive Sinterklaas gifts but nobody knows who bought them. Two Sinterklazen get into a fight at Café Carillon and Koos & Mien end up playing Sint & Piet.

De Cock and his team investigate the murder on a man dressed in St. Nicholas clothes. They discover that he and his ex-wife were fighting over their young daughter, and his new girlfriend was having an affair.

Johnny gets tricked by Kareltje to take in an expensive race horse for one night. When the horse isn't being picked up the next day, the Flodders need to get rid of the giant animal in their living room. The upcoming Sinterklaas holiday gives Johnny an idea.

Norbert doesn't want anybody to enter his expensive new kitchen. Matthijs is aiming to win a competition to play the local Sinterklaas. He a gets former Sint, thespian Albert Paardekoper, to coach him.

In no time several pairs of a Saint and his helper, Zwarte Piet ('Black Pete'), prepare and order costumes independently: Ria who has started a 'young ambitious intellectuals club for the advancement of the economy' and needs Jeanne's permission to host the founding session in the living-room, with Koen who wants to join it; Jo commandeered by childish Sam; Odilon who scolded Jef for refusing and Betty who plans a modern, 'fashionable' version. The next day the costumes in identical boxes get mixed up, including one pair for Father Christmas and his reindeer, and when Jeff fears to be reproached Odilon did it in his place decides to jump in as well. The resulting multiple protagonists-show is not exactly orthodox but entertaining...
