A conservative couple decides to leave their rural community and the wife reluctantly takes a job at a naturist resort. Soon their conservative lifestyle starts colliding with the unconventional one.

The main character is a young and very beautiful girl, Marijana. Now, Marijana is 25, and when she was 16 - her father's boss sexually used her. Marijana's father did not do anything against his boss, and because of that - Marijana's father become successful at job - because his boss helped him: father became famous as discreet gynaecologist for illegal abortions. Ten years after this situation - Marijana's family is very rich and popular in her town. But, Marijana did not forget how does it started. Because of that - now she is revenging to her father - in her own way by prostituting with father's colleagues and harming his reputation (her father cares so much about). At one moment - Marijana meet sculptor, Vanja (poor and talented artist from the suburbs - that will open before her the world of love and trust). But, the world of Vanja and world of prostituting revenge - can not live at same moment! What is going to be - is our story. This film with its characters and the plot tells about hard times in which everything can be sold, about the disturbed system of values which characterizes everyday life in the Balkans; at the same time it tells about love that proves to be the only way out from the Balkan mud and wretchedness.

'Balkan Brothers' is the story of the multinational and ethnically conflicted assembly of apatrides from war torn ex-Yugoslavia, hired by a crippled war merchant to sew labels upon fake jeans and participate in drug smuggling ring. Forced and humiliated into doing such work they are locked up in a Paris cellar where they find out that their Western fate brings even worse temptations then the war in Yugoslavia that made them leave the motherland.

Mina comes to the seaside mental hospital to find Andrej, who ended up there due to events from their common past that affected everybody's lives. There she gets in clash with authoritative doctor Vukcevic, but also with her own bygone, a kind of a labyrinth of dark familial stories.

When a passive young businessman is conned and thrown into great debts, he and his mother concoct a desperate escape plan - to fake his death, stage a funeral, then hide him out in the attic. It's not long before the news of a lurking vampire attracts waves of tourists, including some mobsters who aren't completely sold on this whole vampire story.

Jovan has just graduated from literature and struggles to finish his first novel. He decides to go to his friend's country estate in order to dedicate himself to writing in peace. At the estate, which is situated in obscured mountain's landscape, live farmers - one very strange family which doesn't have contact with civilization. They are illiterate, they live in unclearly defined sexual relations and they are devoted to nature. Zeko, head of the family, is sadist authority whose word, will and unique world-view can't be challenged by family members. Jovan slowly gets used to life with them, and decides to stay with them a little longer. But, it's not on him to decide how much longer.
