I had the honor to speak with the director after the screening. I wanted to thank him and try to put in words the impact it had. I shared that I literally wanted to get up and leave near the beginning. Yet intellectually I knew that is not what I wanted to do. As I sat there, my body was having its own experience. Thank God I had multiple napkins and my tears found a home in them. It ended about 2 hours ago and I continue to experience something I cannot quite describe. Yet I know this film is going to heal the world. I am open to whatever opens up for me to discover so that it may be released or integrated... whatever my truth reveals.
