This list ranks the movies I watched in August 2019. I rank movies not just based on what I think is the best made but also rewatch potential and how engaging I feel they are. One comparison would be that while The Wicker Man (2006) is clearly not as well made as No Regrets for our Youth (1946), I can see myself rewatching The Wicker Man many more times because it’s so hilariously horrible.
