During an outbreak of a contagious disease in 1976, two scientists are sent back in time to 1871, when a Chicago doctor apparently had the cure for it.
    DirectorAlexander SingerStarsSam GroomTom HallickFrancine York
Irwin Allen's attempt to re-start TT. It should have turned into a series as this is one of my very favourites. Rod Serling even helped write the script. For me, Time Travelers came before TZ. My first viewings of TZ were in 1980 and Travelers was in 1976. Richard Basehart is outstanding!

DirectorLeslie H. MartinsonStarsAdam WestBurt WardLee Meriwether
Lee Meriwether in her best role ever! She also appeared in two episodes of the Batman TV series (season two) where she performed with King Tut (but she was not playing Catwoman in the series).

DirectorSpencer Gordon BennetStarsRobert LoweryJohnny DuncanJane Adams
Before Tick-tock got a fix on things, "The Wizard" got a fix on things with his remote control machine. This and many other things make this Columbia cliff-hanger movie serial one of the great wonders of the world - a total must see!
  • The Invaders (1967)

    5. The Invaders

    8.0 (3.7K)
An architect is convinced there are aliens in the world.
    CreatorLarry CohenStarsRoy ThinnesKent SmithMax Kleven
Despite not being made by Irwin Allen, this series is sometimes remembered as being an IA show as it has that same style of general presentation as some Irwin material - mainly TT (the grim faced lead actor fights his way through each adventure while dealing with fantastic encounters. One episode of TT - Town Of Terror - even seems to be paying tribute to QM's The Invaders).
  • David Janssen in The Fugitive (1963)

    CreatorRoy HugginsStarsDavid JanssenWilliam ConradBarry Morse
This has a touch of TT as the lead character goes from town to town, person to person, with a big goal in mind. The fights look alike. Same guest stars. You could say Gerard is trying to get a "fix" on Kimble.
