Juergen Pruchnow excels in his role as the captain. everything in the movie is brilliantly depicted, the camera angels are crisp and clear,, the director's cut is definitely worth every penny, disc is short on special features. I thought they should have had more in that regard. you really feel for all of the poor german u boat officers in the movie.. me of course being German of course I felt sorry for them. I never get tired of watching this movie, the tension that it brought and the utter suspense and chill makes this a top 50 movie of mine, for all time. next review. 2015

Bruce is at his best in this movie,, Dennis FRanz is so lovable as the Airport Police Captain,, it is so good to see him on the big screen.. the villains in this one are witty,, cunning,, sneaky,, and bad ass,, with a few twists in here that you might not seeing coming you're way if you don't pay attention,, next review date, 2009

Samuel Jackson in this, is just so over the fucking top,, fucking Zeus,, there are so many good fucking lines in this movie,, through the park,,, and one step-one step,, are classics.. Jeremy Irons was a great bad ass bad guy too, and you know what i just loved all the riddles two,, really makes you think,, like what doesn't Wall St. have,, schools,, and what does Wall St. have a shitload of... money,, a thinking man's movie.. love the hell out of it,, have to have my darling girl watch it with me soon,, love you Catherine. next review date later this year 08
