To stop the rustling of Hicks, Martin turns to the Cattlemen's Assiciation. They send undercover agent Drexel who sets a trap for the gang. But Drexel's partner Van Wiley, posing as a dude, lets their identity become known putting them in jeopardy.

Ted Warren returns from WW1 to find that everyone thinks he was dead. The culprit is Kent who intercepted his mail, rustled the Warren cattle, took over the Warren ranch, and is now after Ted's girl friend. When Kent's henchmen fail to kill Ted, Kent shoots Ted's father and leaves him for dead. But only wounded, the plan is to have Warren appear as a ghost to get a confession from Kent.

As the Sonora Kid, Blackjack, and Tony Andrews are escaping from the Sheriff, Tony is mortally wounded. Arriving at the Andrews ranch, Tony's blind mother mistakes the Kid for her son. Unable to tell her the truth they stay on. But there is trouble when Nevada Smith and his gang arrive and threaten to expose the hoax unless the Kid lets them rustle the Andrews cattle.

Leaving town with the Sheriff after him, Tex joins up with the Trouble Busters Skinny and Windy. In Placerville he runs into trouble with Bill Jarvis leading to a mad rush to file on oil rich land.

It's cattlemen versus sheepmen and Trigger Gargan appears to be the leader of the gang causing the trouble. But unknown to Ranger Tex Lawrence, the respected town citizen Barrow is the boss and is tipping off the gang as to the Ranger's activities.

Bruce Reynolds is looking for his grandfather's map to a hidden supply of gold. When Garlow sees Amos Jenkins with the map he kills him. Cliff Graves witnesses the murder and jealous of Reynolds for taking away his girl friend Joan, blames him for the crime.

The man that framed Tom Lansing's father for murder is at a ghost town where no one is allowed in or out. Tom gets in by posing as an escaping outlaw with his sidekick Banty posing as the Sheriff that is chasing him. Tom learns that the boss Cramer is the man he is after but there is trouble when Banty later gets caught. Cramer holds a kangaroo court planning to kill Banty if he doesn't tell who his confederate is.

Twin brothers Bob and Don Ramsay are on opposite sides of the law. Bob is the Sheriff and Don is the famous outlaw the Black Bandit. When the Black Bandit strikes, he is seen and his look-alike brother Bob arrested. Refusing to implicate his brother, Bob escapes and heads after Don.

Just after Carson's gang murder members of a wagon train, Rusty and Clem come along and are arrested. Knowing they are innocent Judge Coleman breaks them out and sends them after Carson. They join Carson's gang to learn of their next raid but the Marshal arrests them for the wagon train murders.

A Montana cowboy battles lowlifes while preparing for a competition in Chicago.

Jim and Buddy decide to follow their pal Tater-bug who left them for another job. No sooner do they arrive than Tater-bug gets shot in the back. Jim suspects Joe Weller but has no proof.

Leary is using the Express Agent's liking for alcohol to enable his men to steal insured packages. Then he claims the insurance. Railroad Agent Hartley is sent to investigate and suspecting Leary, he and the Sheriff plan to trap them the next time they try their scheme.

When easterner Jack Steel gets into trouble with the law again, his father sends him to his ranch out west. There he and Alice Duncan become attracted to each other. Cowhand Slim was planning to marry Alice and now kidnaps her. When Slim's girl friend learns of Slim's interest in Alice, she tells Jack where Alice is and he heads out alone to face the three kidnapers.

Cowboy infiltrates an outlaw gang to expose their rackets, but after he's ordered to kidnap a young girl, the gang finds out who he really is.

A man is framed and sent to toughest prison in the territory.

Staying one step ahead of the law, the Apache Kid helps out a cowboy in trouble.

Jay Price's dying mother tells him his real name is Jack King and gives him a locket as proof. At the King ranch he loses the locket which is found by the foreman. Hoping to regain his proof, he hires on as a ranchhand knowing the foreman is the outlaw known as the Hawk. But trying to prevent the Hawk from rustling cattle, he is captured by the Hawk's men.

Texas Ranger Larry Graham (Kermit Maynard) goes under cover in a prison to help Ace Beldon (Maston Williams) break out. After they escape, Ace leads Larry to his hidden loot.

Evans and Walton have started a range war causing rancher Morgan to send for the reputed killer Tim Corwin. Walton then frames Tim for the murder of Morgan. When Tim escapes the Sheriff, Evans and Walton set Tim up to be murdered. But Morgan's son Buddy overhears their plans and rides to warn Tim.

A lawman captures the notorious "Pecos Kid", who is tried and hanged for his crimes--then starts to have doubts as to whether the Kid actually committed the crimes.

Manning breaks out of prison and joins Blake's gang of outlaws. Later a paroled Muggs arrives to rejoin the gang. Muggs is the only one who knows where the stolen money is hidden and Manning is after it.

Tom Riley and sidekick Windy arrive at the Baker ranch where horses are being rustled. It appears the culprit is a wild horse, but Tom catches and rides the horse which leads to trouble with the real rustlers.

Englishwoman falls for dude ranch cowboy but goes back to England when she thinks he's only pretending. But he follows her to England.

When a Ranger is killed, the Captain sends Dave Austin to investigate. Posing as an outlaw, he meets Apache Joe who he realizes was the killer. He also meets Dan Drury, the man that transfers money between Apache Joe and his boss. He takes a job on Drury's ranch but is in trouble when Drury's sister Jean reveals his true identity.

Mendoza ruthlessly controls the valley of San Fernando and his men guard the only entrance. When Mendoza announces he will marry Michael's girl friend Maria, Michael plans an escape. He hopes to reach the Governor and bring back the troops.
