An art museum, on a dark and stormy night. The statue of Nero comes to life and tries to burn the nearby painting of Rome but his matches go out. He tries to get a set of "hear no evil" monkeys to take the matches from a still life, but they refuse and he teases them. The other artworks come to their defense. Nero plays hurt, and gets the monkeys to help; after they stumble around in the still life for a while, they get drunk on lighter fluid and start breathing flames, which they combine with the fluid to act as a flamethrower. Soon, the museum is ablaze and all the paintings are either sounding the alarm or coming to fight the fire.

An alley cat disguises himself as an abandoned baby in order to con his way inside the house of Tom and Jerry.

Tom is dressed up and treated like a baby by the little girl of the house, and he hates it aside from the bottle of milk, that is. Jerry brings in some alley cats, who tease Tom.

A cute and very tormented kitten is bullied by an incomparably evil bulldog, who lives to know better after a black cat crosses his path.

Barney's on a camping trip, but the great outdoors is a bit too wild for him: first the wildlife, then the air mattress, then a bit of rain...

Spike is showing his son Tyke how to barbecue when his cooking is disrupted by a typical Tom-and-Jerry chase.

Barney Bear grows a victory garden that a gopher is only too happy to gobble up.

Barney Bear heads to a national park for a vacation while another bear, native to the park, notices Barney's picnic lunch and makes various attempts to steal Barney's food while Barney tries to eat. Barney notices the bear and tries to escape the moocher but wherever Barney goes, the omnipresent bear is always there too. Finally, Barney gives up and offers the bear some food at which point the bear informs the park rangers that Barney is feeding the animals and the rangers take Barney off in their wagon.

A series of visual gags about baseball. One running gag has an angry fan screaming "Kill the ump!" Be careful what you wish for.....

Barney has run out of firewood in mid-winter. His quest for more is not too successful. Meanwhile, the beavers have been busily cutting and stacking their wood, which proves too tempting for Barney. The beavers are not pleased...

Barney Bear hunts a snowshoe rabbit, whose white fur makes him impossible to see in the snow and whose wiliness makes him impossible to catch.

Barney's settling in for the winter. But water leaks, a loose shutter, a noisy fire, a teakettle left on, and some stray embers all get in the way, and Barney also locks himself out. And that's just the beginning.

Barney takes his air-raid warden post too seriously, telling first an owl (shining eyes) and then a firefly to put their lights out. The firefly isn't at all happy and keeps pestering Barney. Then Barney finds a huge offender: a cabin that's all lit up. Looks familiar...

Barney Bear prepares to go hunting, but first he needs a bird dog. The dog he gets, though (Harry Hound), turns out to be a bird lover.

A wolf with a Southern accent walks by just as a teacher is getting fed up with his class and walks out. Unfortunately, the class consists of three junior clones of Droopy, who manage to try his patience.

Yet another variation on the Three Little Pigs theme, this time told as WW2 anti-German propaganda (the US had just entered the war), with the wolf as a thinly-disguised Hitler.

As Tom prepares to commit suicide, Jerry recounts the cat's hopeless lover's pursuit of the opportunistic lady that led to this.

A conductor, in silhouette against sheet music, leads the title tune, which dissolves into a series of placid landscapes. As the music picks up, there is a water wheel, then a dancing fairy emerges from a whirlpool and begins singing, to the delight of small woodland creatures. The birds awaken sleeping cherubs, who begin their work of harvesting all things blue and adding them to the river. The birds even do their part, harvesting the color blue from the rainbow. Everyone tugs to open a floodgate and unleash the cerulean waters. A swan, festively decorated, leads a gondola of sorts lit by fireflies.

Spike the bulldog, grateful to Jerry for getting him out of the dogcatcher's van, offers to help the little mouse any time he whistles. Tom, Jerry's feline tormentor, seeks to overcome this new disadvantage.

Three witches need a worm to complete their potion; they dispatch a raven to catch one, and he goes after a bookworm. He chases the worm into the horror section, where the monsters attack but soon, Paul Revere rides Black Beauty to the rescue, along with the Police Gazette, and other assorted war heroes; eventually, the Boy Scouts build a match-stick bridge, leading the worm to safety.

As the title implies, Tom and Jerry are in a bowling alley. Both spend a lot of time sliding on the well-polished lanes. Eventually, Jerry takes up residence among the pins and Tom tries to bowl him down.

Tom and Jerry are forced to take care of a baby because the babysitter is more interested in talking on the phone.

Barney gets involved in Good Neighbor Week by helping out the local beaver, help the beaver could do without.

Droopy is on his way to woo his lovely senorita when he is waylayed by a wolf intent on winning the fair lass. But the wolf wasn't counting on Droopy's uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time...
