The toys march out and decorate the tree, with the toy soldiers shooting balls from their cannon, a toy airplane stringing a garland like skywriting, and the toy firemen applying snow. A blimp delivers the star to the top. Meanwhile, Santa fills the stockings. His laughter awakens the children, who sneak out. The toys rush to their places, and Santa escapes up the chimney just in time. The closing verse is sung.

When a lazy grasshopper prefers to sing and dance rather than forage like his friends the ants, he learns to regret it when winter approaches. The ants save his life and in return he entertains them with his music.

We see bunny rabbits preparing for Easter, by making chocolate eggs and rabbits, decorating eggs, and weaving and filling baskets.

Red Riding Hood is accompanied by Fiddler Pig and Piper Pig as she takes a shortcut through the forest to deliver food to her sick grandmother.

The Chocolate Soldiers seek to attack Pastry Village.

Donald and Peter Pig refuse to help the Wise Little Hen plant her corn or harvest it, but they are plenty anxious to help eat it.

Mickey drives a steamroller and takes Minnie's little ones for a ride. While he takes a break to court Minnie, the little ones climb aboard and start the steamroller moving.

Two penguins woo.

Mickey and an early version of Donald Duck are police officers chasing dognapper Pegleg Pete. Despite their bumbling, they manage to repeatedly get the drop on Pete at his sawmill hideout, though they ultimately make a shambles of the place.

Mickey is a frustrated bandleader dealing with obnoxious ice cream seller and flute player Donald, who tries to persuade the band to play "Turkey in the Straw," when a tornado hits during the concert.

A dwarf grants the king's wish that everything he touches will turn to gold. When the king finds that he cannot eat, he is no longer happy with the gift. By giving up his worldly property, he finds happiness going from riches to rags.

Cookies, cakes, and other desserts march in a parade. A gingerbread girl cries because she has nothing to wear; a gingerbread man dresses her up, and she is named cookie queen.

Mickey, Donald and Goofy are firefighters. As you might expect, their attempts at fighting a boarding house fire are not particularly effective. They hear Clarabelle singing in the bathtub and rescue her, tub and all, against her will (she won't believe there's a fire).

Pluto chases a kitten through a window and right into Mickey's lap. Mickey scolds him, and goes off to wash the kitten. Pluto falls asleep in front of the fire, and dreams of a hell ruled by cats where he is put on trial for all his crimes against cats and, of course, found guilty.

Mickey and friends have various levels of enjoyment skating on a frozen river. As Mickey and Minnie glide romantically, Donald plays tricks on Pluto and ends up in trouble himself with a kite, from which Mickey must save him.

A sailor doll, thrown into a toy dump, rallies the demoralized dolls that were already there.

Mickey Mouse and his friends face off against a team of celebrities in a polo match.

Mickey and Donald take a truckload of mouse boys on a picnic. The boys delight in tormenting Donald, first by filching the picnic food, then giving him a flower with a bee inside (Donald eventually gets the whole hive after him), and finally a sandwich with another bee in it.

Mickey is preparing to conduct an opera when he chases Pluto away. Pluto crashes into a magician's props backstage and spars with the hat, its rabbits, and its doves. The opera begins: Clarabelle plays flute, Clara and Donald are the leads in a Romeo and Juliet style opera, "Bella Figlia Dell'Amore" from Verdi's Rigoletto. Pluto follows the magic hat onstage, to Mickey's growing annoyance. The hat falls into a tuba, and soon the animals are filling the stage.
