Misunderstandings arise between Akbar and his son Salim when he disapproves his son's love.

Raja lives a wealthy lifestyle with his somewhat upper Caste Hindu, eccentric, woman-hating dad, Hazurdas, and mom. He is friendly with Kishore, and both are aspiring doctors. On their way to college, they meet with two young women, Rani Mehra and Kamini. Both young men fall in love with them, with Raja taking the first initiative and getting married to Kamini, even though she of a lower untouchable Caste, but decides not to tell his parents. When he does inform them, they want him to divorce Kamini and get married to a girl of their choice, Raja refuses and returns back to Kamini, only to find her in the arms of her childhood friend, Sunder. Angered and hurt at this betrayal, he decides to marry the girl his parents have chosen for him - and he is due for another surprise - as the girl he is about to wed is none other than Kamini's friend, Rani. Watch what happens when a liberated, tom-boyish Rani finds out that Raja is already married, and the impact this has on everyone concerned.

Angered Juhi starts to plot against Adil, by getting the emperor to collect taxes and forced labour from Adil's village. This angers Adil, who goes to confront the emperor and the queen-to-be. Angered, the Emperor dismisses Adil, and orders his arrest. Adil flees to the hills. Numerous attempts by the emperor's armies to apprehend Adil are in vain. Finally, Juhi tells the emperor that she will bring in Adil without spilling a drop of blood. Will Ruhi succeed where so many have failed?

Allahabad-based Raj Raibahadur lives a wealthy lifestyle with his widowed businessman dad. His mom had passed away, a victim to tuberculosis, compelling his anxious dad to keep him away from the hustle, bustle and pollution associated with cities. As a result Raj ends up in the countryside, involved in the construction of a dam. His dad asks him to commence correspondence with a Riva-based young woman by the name of Chandra Rai, with a view to get him married, to which Raj agrees. The correspondence starts, and even without meeting each other, Chandra and Raj fall in love. They cement they love when they finally meet with each other. When Raj tells him dad, the marriage proposal is put forth, but to Raj's shock and dismay, Chandra rejects him. It is only later that Raj finds out that the woman he had corresponded with was not Chandra, but her younger sister, Neelu. Then the Raibahadur family physician, Dr. Kailash, gives them devastating news that Raj has tuberculosis and is not expected to live too long. Watch what Raj does to convince Chandra of his love, and try to prove to Neelu that she should forget him and get married to Kailash instead.

Who is the biological father of this child? Where is he located?

Widower Ashok lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay, India, along with his son, Kishore, his paternal aunt, a maid-servant, Chanda, and three other employees. He makes a living running an export-import business near Flora Fountain. One day unattended Kishore runs away, a frantic Ashok complains to the Police and puts up a reward of a thousand Rupees. A young woman named Asha, who lives a poor lifestyle, all by herself, finds Kishore, brings him to the Police Station, where he is picked up by Ashok and taken home. Asha refuses to take any reward money. Shortly thereafter Ashok advertises for the position of a governess, Asha applies, is hired, and moves in to live with them. Soon she and Ashok fall in love, much to the chagrin of Ashok's aunt, who wants him to marry her niece. Ashok gets married with Asha nevertheless, the family live in harmony, and Asha gives birth to a male child, Munna. Thereafter Ashok is told that Asha is neglecting Kishore; a necklace that was inexpensive, but a good omen for Kishore goes missing, and is subsequently found on Munna's bed; and a cat dies after drinking poisoned milk that was meant for Kishore. An angered Ashok blames Asha and asks her to leave, and she picks up Munna and leaves. The question remains: Did Asha really neglect, steal and then try to kill Kishore merely because she became a mother herself or was there some other unknown reason(s)?

Young and handsome Shammi and beautiful Kishori are in love, and despite of their circumstances, marry and live in wedded bliss for a short period of time, and then start having differences. Even the birth of a baby boy does not bridge their differences, and eventually Kishori leaves to go to live with her dad, Baba. Shammi and his mom keep the baby with them. Kishori misses the baby, and eventually drives herself to serious illness, which can only be cured when she has the baby with her all the time.
