Bayaya defeats all three dragons and chooses his future wife among the princesses. But at his mother's request, he must not reveal that he is the hero who saved the princesses. However, after a series of further disappointments, he gets a well-deserved happy ending.

People living on an island finds a treasure, but it does not only do them good.

Excellent stop-motion animation film from one of the best Czech filmmakers, Jirí Trnka. It tells the ancient story of Bohemia, how it was founded by Czech, the Forefather, and a series of legendary episodes of heroes, queens and kings, inspired in a book by Alois Jirásek compiling the Czech myths.
