Unfortunately, practically everything that you see in these movies and worse crimes are constantly happening all around the world and everyone who thinks otherwise is simply naive and doesn't know what kind of monsters are living among us. Many people have no idea at all what kind of unbelievable crimes are happening all the time. These movies depict just a very small fraction of these crimes and I fully defend them for doing so, because people should be able to realize what kind of evil there is in the world. You can expect that every evil thing that you can imagine and much worse crimes that you would not even consider have already happened multiple times in the world no matter how evil they are and keep on happening in the future as long as there are humans alive. However, I can fully understand people who don't want to give attention to these sorts of things, because they are not pleasant at all to think about...
