Gaslight Noir
Gaslight Noir was a small genre that flourished briefly, mostly in the 1940s. These were film noirs set in England during the Victorian and Edwardian eras. (Roughly 1840 - 1920.) "Gaslight" refers to the light fixtures of London streets, not the movie of that name.
