When a new and powerful mineral, the Tiberium, is discovered, two organizations start a war for its control: the criminal Brotherhood of NOD and the UN derived GDI forces.

The Covert Operations is the official expansion for Command and Conquer. It adds 15 new singleplayer missions to the game: 7 for GDI and 8 for Nod. The missions can be played in any order and are noticeably more difficult than any in the original game. In addition, there are also 10 new multiplayer maps. Several units that had only been available in multiplayer mode in the original game now regularly appear in the new single-player missions as well, including Nod's chem troopers and SSM launchers.

In an alternative Earth, where Hitler was eliminated from history, you play either side of a new war of the Soviet Union vs. the Allies.

The Aftermath is the second add-on to Command and Conquer: Red Alert. This add-on introduces new fully playable units - Chrono Tank, Demolition Truck, Field Mechanic, Tesla Tank, Shock Trooper, M.A.D. Tank and Missile Sub. There are 18 new campaign missions, 9 for each side. They are not connected with any storyline whatsoever, much like in Counterstrike, so they can be played in any order. The Aftermath also adds yet another 100 multiplayer maps and 8 all-new battle songs, expanding the soundtrack to 35 tracks.

Set in 2030, 30 years after the GDI had won the First Tiberium War in Command & Conquer (1995), following the second major war between the GDI of the United Nations, and the global terrorist organization known as the Brotherhood of Nod.

Tratos mysteriously hands in his research on the artifact known as the Tacitus to the GDI Daedalus team, and while the artifact's extraction was underway, the Kodiak, the airship that was carrying it at the time, is shot down by an intense ion storm which also cuts off GDI's link to the Philadelphia space station. As the Southern Cross base assumes command and attempts to retrieve the Tacitus, Nod is found licking its wounds from the previous conflict and trying to repair and restore their main AI, CABAL. However, once that is done, it turns on its masters and tries to claim the Tacitus for its own needs.

You play either side of a new Allied/Soviet war when the real villian is an evil master of mind control.

You play either the Soviet or Allied side as you battle against the mad scientist Yuri.

The Global Defense Initiative top three Tiberium research specialists have been abducted by the Brotherhood of Nod. The player assumes the role of GDI commando Captain Nick Parker, who is assigned to rescue these experts.

China and the US are faced with the growing threat of the Global Liberation Army, that sees both of the superpowers as a threat to their freedom. Through three campaigns and multiplayer battles, you'll have the chance to save the world.

You are in command of the armies of either GDI or NOD with the fate of Earth in the balance.

Around the seemingly immortal leader of the Brotherhood of Nod, Kane, and recounts his ascent to power after narrowly escaping death in the year 2031, ending with Kane re-acquiring the Tacitus artifact from Tiberian Sun, in the year 2052.

As the Soviet Union was beginning to face defeat by the powers of the western world, General Krukov and Colonel Cherdenko with Dr. Zelinski make a last ditch effort to save the Union by using Zelinski's latest invention, a time machine.

As the Allied Forces beat back the Soviet occupation in Europe and prevented the Empire of the Rising Sun from taking over the world. The post-war occupations by the Allies has begun. But what the Allies do not know is that the president of the European Union, Rupert Thornley (who is in charge of the post-war occupation) is also secretly massing an army of his own with the help of a technology company known as "FutureTech". The Allies also have to be aware of a rumored "Uprising" by both the Soviet Union and the Empire of the Rising Sun.

Tiberian Twilight is the last episode of the Tiberium saga, involving Kane. Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and Brotherhood of Nod are still at war.
