Fátima and Sueli are good friends that share an apartment and a job in a wedding shop. They hope to find their Prince Charming but their love lives are always a mess.

The show tells the story of two couples: Mário Jorge and Celinha, and Arnaldo and Rita. Previously, Mário Jorge was married to Rita and had two children, Isadora and Tatalo; and, curiously enough, Arnaldo and Celinha were also married and had son Adonis. Even separated, all meet every day, since they are neighbors in the Jambalaya apartment building, stage of all classes of confusion. The building still counts on the presence of the perverted síndica of the building, "Dona" Álvara, and the two families' maid Bozena, an amusing duck-whistler who observes and participates in the two families' confused lives, along with the beloved Copelia, Celinha's mother, who brings more excitement to everyone's lives.

Living with her family since the pandemic struck, the meddling Isadir does her best to disrupt the lives of her bumbling son and rival daughter-in-law.
