Popeye takes Olive to a stage show of a hypnotist (Bluto), who also levitates objects. While he's doing this, Popeye makes him lose his concentration, so in retaliation, the hypnotist pulls Olive on stage and turns her into a chicken. Popeye comes down to fight and the hypnotist tries to turn him into a monkey, but Popeye pulls a mirror into place. He recovers, and turns Popeye into a donkey, then smacks him around a bit, but spinach comes to the rescue.

Popeye teaches Olive the art of self-defense, which comes in handy when a woman boxer flirts with him.

Bluto muscles out Popeye to take Olive to the fair. Popeye rushes ahead and poses as a fortune teller, luring Olive in. He shows Olive her future (actually, her past) in the crystal ball: first, a clip of a mountain climbing sequence that culminates in Bluto assaulting Olive. Then, a clip from another amusement park showing strongman Bluto stealing Olive away to a roller-coaster while Popeye rings a strength-testing bell repeatedly. Olive, having seen this, no longer wants anything to do with Bluto and walks out. Bluto exposes Popeye and chases Olive into a Tunnel of Love; Popeye follows and trashes Bluto.

Tom's fraidy cat cousin comes for a visit and Jerry takes advantage of the cowardly feline.

In the dead of winter, a wolf is torn between hunger and his affection for an adorable young rabbit.

Tom steals an egg from a mother's nest, cracks it over a frying pan and then discovers he can have roast duck. But the uncooperative hatchling runs away from the cat and into a mouse hole, where he finds an able protector in Jerry.

Weary Woody Woodpecker is hitchhiking across the desert trying to thumb a ride on a passing stagecoach. He adds artificial limbs and dresses like a girl and has no problem in getting on the next one but is tossed out when his disguise is discovered. After eating a huge meal he decides to get even with the driver and uses a poster of the wanted Buzz Buzzard as a tool. But the real Buzz shows up and, when Woody resorts to his female disguise, the dastardly villain makes a play for him. Aftera wild mêlée, Woody has the driver and the bandit pulling the stage.

Andy Panda goes shopping for a flower to decorate his lawn but the poor flower is attacked by a very nasty weed that threatens to choke the life out of it. Andy does his best to get rid of the menacing and stubborn weed.

A cold penguin sneaks aboard a ship to get warm and the watchdog has to evict him before the Captain returns. Debut cartoon featuring the popular mute penguin.

In the prologue, the audience is introduced to Maisie, a typical office girl. Her job begins at 8:30 AM, but she has set her alarm clock for 8:25 AM. So she has a hectic time of dressing up and running to her workplace. She spends her workday reading novels (all of them a variation of "Gone with the Wind") and eating sweets. After the end of her workday, she heads to a hat shop and gets to choose among various weird hats. She finds one to her liking and orders a copy for herself. Then the audience is introduced to the hat designers: mental patients in padded cells. One of them is briefly released and gets to create Maisie's hat. Maisie happily wears her weird new hat, unaware that she is scaring a cat. The film ends with a tribute to the men who sacrificed their life and their sanity for the hat industry.

Inspector Willoughby is in Paris looking to capture the famous international spy, Agent X-13. He finds the spy "disguised" (with his head upside down) but Willoughby uncovers the "disguise" and gives chase. Agent X-13 ends up at the train station and riding the Orient Express. The Inspector follows with the agent using a variety of schemes to do away with Willoughby. He notices a downhill grade and sends a safe sliding down to crush the Inspector but the grade becomes an uphill grade and the safe ends up crashing into X-13. X-13 tries feeding him several poisonous foods and Willoughby's stomach turns out to have a trap door. Finally, Willoughby and X-13 battle on top of the train with X-13 leaping from the train to avoid hitting a tunnel and lands in Willoughby's net, then finding himself tied to a scale after going through the tunnel. The Inspector, having captured the crook, exclaims, "That's what I call apprehending crime on a big scale!"

After a short history on bees and bee-keeping, we find Windy the bear's attempts to steal honey from a bee hive (he is teaching his son the "right" way to get honey) only to be attacked by the bee inside. Windy tries a number of attempts to outsmart the bee. He floods the hive, dresses as a queen bee, uses a bathroom plunger to trap the bee (only to get it stuck to various parts of his body) and finally tries to dynamite it, only succeeding in blowing himself up. At the hospital, he is served honey and hotcakes in bed... by a male nurse who looks suspiciously like the bee he just tangled with!

After a storm strands them on a deserted island, Woody Woodpecker and his wolf friend end up battling themselves in a quest to find food.

An apple falls on Bugs' head, transporting him back to King Arthur's England.

A partial updating of the Cinderella story. When the fairy godmother is late, Cinderella calls the police, who put out an APB and find her in a bar. Her first attempt at turning the pumpkin (canned) and mice into a coach produces Santa. Cinderella gets to the ball (in a stagecoach) and meets Prince Charming Egghead. They dance, and spend some quality time on the balcony. Midnight, dropped slipper, and all that; Egghead finds her house with the help of some neon signs, but all that's there is a note that she got tired of waiting and went to a Warner Bros. show. She pops up from the audience, and they head off to the tenth row together.

Crusoe, played by Yosemite Sam, has been living off coconuts for 20 years when Bugs washes up on his island.

Cheese-chasing mice Hubie and Bertie convince a dumb cat that he's actually a lion, and that the mean bulldog in the back yard is really a moose. Eventually they convince the dog he's a gazelle, then a pelican.

Literary characters come to life late at night in a bookshop, serenading Sniffles the mouse with swing music until the Frankenstein monster intrudes.

Heckling the Champ gets Bugs into the world championship fight as the challenger.
