Despite being a popular and prolific writer in his day, Edgar Wallace has become confined to relative obscurity. His books have been adapted numerous times on film and TV. Wallace has a big following in Germany, courtesy of the many films produced from the late 50s to the early 70s. When he suddenly passed away, Wallace was in California at the time. He was collaborating on the screenplay for the upcoming film, "King Kong."

My list covers a variety of genres throughout the decades, starring some of the biggest actors from the British acting industry. Apart from the classics, my list also includes some of the more obscure titles.
