 Here's some that I have watched and liked. Many others I've yet to see. Several of these characters would resurface in later years. All listed in the 1932 to 1955 area. Some of these were edited for feature film release also.

including many of the B movies as well as the big budget classics. I guess this list is longer than any other decade simply because they made more movies in this decade than any other.

A criminal mastermind who rivals Professor Moriarty, Fu Manchu became an instant success when he first appeared in a 1913 novel by Sax Rohmer. Here is a list of the various films featuring the character. The first two films with Christopher Lee, plus the one with Boris Karloff, are the best.
