Here is a list I've compiled of the many adaptations of Giovanni Boccaccio's  Decameron, and the films inspired by it. Not all the films on the list are based on the Decameron, but due to the success of Pier Paolo Pasolini's "The Decameron," many other Italian filmmakers attempted to cash in on the success of the film in the first half of the seventies. Decamerotici are often set in Medieval times, and/or are marked by characters telling erotic stories to pass the time.
