my goal in life is to watch every single teen movie/romcom every produced (or at least listed) on imdb.  Tags are the easiest marker, but bottom line is if the protagonist is 13-19 and there is another lead that the character wants to fuck, also counts if it hits my teen feels too

Sometimes ratings can be manipulated or biased depending on expectations but sometimes some great movies end up in the middle because no one knows what to think or didn’t live up to its genre it belongs or the went a different direction then it was expected. Here is a list of the rated 5/10 level movies that didn’t give the expectations to what the audience wanted but brought something else and are great movies for what they are. For example, some movies have descent budget but a great script, some are blockbuster budget but has a script for a b movie, and sometimes politicians or companies interfered during filming. Either way these films are great and epic and some day will reach 6/10 level when you realize to let go of your usual cup of tea and enjoy the movie for what it is and what it tried to do.
