A collection of 1980's films that my brother, friend, and cousins watch together. Mostly containing Horror films because they have ridiculous plots and scenes and attempts at acting. I recognize some are cult classics and some aren't nearly as bad as others. But this is a fun, subjective list that explores the whole decade in terms of lower quality cinema. This list gets updated once or twice a week so make sure you return to see the progress!

Some of my favorite 80's horror flicks, both known and lesser known films. (I ONLY PUT FILMS ON THIS LIST THAT I RATED 5 OR MORE!)

So I created this list in order to separate the good horror movies from the really great horror movies, in my humble opinion. Every film in this list has received an "eight" rating, or higher from me. I figured it would be a useful list in order to separate the horror films that mean the most to me. This list will be ever expanding as I see more films. In no specific order.

Marilyn Eastman, Duane Jones, and Judith Ridley in Night of the Living Dead (1968)

These are horror movies that I have seen that I would consider underrated an obscure, that I think are terrific, and would be considered to be great among by a many horror fan. There are many great hidden gems out there to be seen. These are worth checking out.

Doug Bradley in Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988)

Often very similar to zombie movies (http://www.imdb.com/list/Zu0aA0_BPKI/) but the dead aren't reanimated, instead some kind of "infection" turns the population into raging cannibals.

Despite not ticking all the boxes for a zombie film there is plenty of crossover (especially as The Last Man on Earth inspired Romero's zombies) and a fan of the undead should be just fine with these too, especially as classifying them separately from zombies means any extra abilities (like running fast, and even free running) won't be too jarring. Most are worth a rental although some, like almost all the I Am Legend adaptations, 28 X Later, The Crazies, Quarantine and Pontypool are good enough to seek out.
