This is my constantly expanding list of big screen movies, videos, TV movies or TV miniseries which revolve around food, cooking, gastronomy, kitchen or restaurant life, or where food is just a significant MacGuffin. 

Because this is a compilation of films in one very particular subject field, I have chosen to include all titles that are in any way relevant to the culinary arts, being fully aware there are some really bad stinkers among these. However, in contrast, on this list there are also many truly remarkable cinematic masterpieces, which for one reason or another, are either totally unknown or criminally underappreciated.

NOTE: This list does not include any documentaries, cooking demos, game shows or reality TV shows. For obvious reasons all cannibalism related titles are also excluded.

Simon, I don't recall that film, but it does sound like something I should've seen/should see; if it comes up, I'll be sure to post! Any additional details would be helpful [was it an English language film?, made in US/UK?, etc.]...one possibility is, "The Linguini Incident" [1991], w/Marlee Matlin?

Manish, yes, apart from KB, #15's '9 1/2 Weeks' does have a little something to do with food...! ;) Additionally, it also had a prequel and sequel produced.
