This is a list of fictional films in which tango is a major theme or persistent presence. I am aware that it is incomplete: viewing and adding titles is an ongoing project. It goes from the ones I saw earliest (as best as I can recall) to the most recently. In "detail view," you can read my comments. Some I haven't watched yet are at the bottom. See also my lists of Tango Documentaries (e.g., "Our Last Tango) and Hera and There (non-tango films with a tango scene or element, e.g., "Scent of a Woman"). What film goes on what list is, needless to say, debatable.

*LEER* Estoy haciendo una lista que ordena las películas argentinas según el promedio entre las valoraciones de IMDb, Metascore, Filmaffinity, RottenTomatoes y Letterboxd, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de votos que tienen en los sitios, distinciones/premios individuales y un promedio de valoración al año de rodaje para que no sea tan amplia la brecha entre la nueva era (ya con internet) y el viejo cine argentino. La idea es encontrar un orden bastante imparcial, solo basándonos en los datos que encontramos en los sitios más prestigiosos de cine. Espero que les guste. La idea es ir actualizandola mes a mes y seguir sumando películas.
