He moved to Paris for hotel management but shifted his focus to fitness, opening health clubs in Germany. His imposing physique led him to Hollywood, where he joined Gold's Gym and landed a role in "No Retreat, No Surrender 2.:" replacing Jean Claude Van Damme.
