Toshi Ichiyanagi was born on 4 February 1933 in Kobe, Japan. He was a composer, known for Farewell to the Summer Light (1968), Saya no iru tousizu (1986) and A Story Written with Water (1965). He was married to Sumiko and Yoko Ono. He died on 7 October 2022 in Tokyo, Japan.
