- Bruno Hübner was born on August 26, 1899 in Langenbruck, Reichenberg, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Dlouhý Most, Czech Republic]. He was an actor and director, known for Flying Classroom (1954), Lulu (1980) and Die Galerie der großen Detektive (1954). He died on December 22, 1983 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

Member of the ensemble of the Deutschen Theater in Berlin from 1934 to 1945, also a cabaret performer and prolific in films during this period and into the 1950's and 60's. Had a penchant for eccentric characterisations.
