When the series "Kojak" was first on TV in Hungary, he dubbed Telly Savalas and later he played Kojak in the movie "Kojak Budapesten" (Kojak in Budapest).

He resembled Savalas, Telly so much that he often joked taxi drivers with saying he is actually Kojak. Also, when he visited London and stood next to the wax figure of Savalas at Madam Tussauds, tourist immediately began to ask for autographs. He kindly signed their papers
