- Dave Alan Johnson, is an award-winning writer, director and showrunner of nearly half a billion dollars' worth of entertainment content. He has collaborated with some of Hollywood's top names, including teaming up with Steven Spielberg to co-create and executive produce DreamWorks' premier television production - the ABC hit drama, "High Incident." Over his long career Dave has created film and TV content for virtually every major entertainment company in Hollywood -- Disney, Sony, MGM, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and others -- including overall writing and producing deals at Paramount, Warner Brothers and Universal. He has written scripts across the spectrum of genres and forms as diverse as Dick Wolf's early television series "Nasty Boys" (NBC) to the acclaimed Gary Goldberg series "Brooklyn Bridge" (CBS) to the Hollywood Pictures script for the film, "The Blue Wall."
Dave went on to co-create and serve as showrunner for the International hit series, "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye," starring Deanne Bray as the first Deaf Actor in a title role in television history - and featured her husband, Academy Award winner, Troy Kotsur (Coda), in his first series recurring role. Johnson has also served as executive producer, writer and/or director of many audience-favorite films around the world, including "Christmas with Tucker," "Mom's Night Out," "October Baby," "Coffee Shop" and "Vanished" to name just a few. Dave is one of the founders of the new content company Exceleration Studio where he oversees all creative endeavors.
