Ingeborg Jonassen(1937-2022)

Ingeborg Jonassen was discovered by a talent-agent, while having lunch in the American Hotel in Amsterdam. When she was invited to do an audition for a part in a play, her agent told her to lie , when the question was asked if she had any experience. Although she had no experience, she said that she was in stage-productions before, so she was promptly hired.
She became part of the Johan Kaart Stagegroup. Johan Kaart was a big star in the Netherlands, and his productions were always sold out, so Ingeborg quickly gained success.
After a short marriage, she had a daughter, and had to support both her and her daughter.
Besides her stage work, she was seen a lot in commercials and occasionally in Movies.
In the 1970's , she played a part in the highly successful TV-series "TiTa Tovenaar, In which she played "Aunt Tomasia"
After that she married for second time, to a millionaire and went with him to the South of France, where she became part of the International jet-set.
After the death of her husband she went back to the Netherlands and married for a third time, to Cees van Ginhoven.
The last years of her life she was in poor health, due to a fall while visiting France.
She died of kidney failure in the VU-hospital in Amsterdam and was buried next to her parents at the Noorder Begraafplaats in Amsterdam.
