She studied at The Neighborhood Playhouse with Sanford Meisner, The Strasberg Institute with Lee Strasberg and The Beverly Hills Playhouse with Milton Katselas.

She began her teaching career at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, where she taught for Milton Katselas for over 17 years. She has her own studio (The Jocelyn Jones Acting Studio) in West Los Angeles, where she teaches 100 handpicked actors, directors and writers.

She serves as Creative Consultant to a select few celebrity clients.
