The official Ost for Deadpool and Wolverine not only includes the title song to Hugh Jackman's musical, The Greatest Showman, but it also features a nod to the original Deadpool movie's iconic music: Angel of the Morning.

The Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack will feature a song from Hugh Jackman's hit 2017 musical film The Greatest Showman.

Fans have been looking forward to the upcoming MCU installment since it will mark Jackman's long-awaited return as Wolverine and team up with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool in a multiversal adventure.

As we've seen in the trailers and TV spots that they released so far, Deadpool and Wolverine will embrace its R-rated tone and poke fun at the current state of the MCU and Jackman's comeback in his iconic role.

Hollywood Records has announced that the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack, featuring 18 songs, will be released on July 24. The soundtrack will also be available on CD and a 12″ 2-lp vinyl on July 26.

The Deadpool & Wolverine Original Score digital album, with music by composer Rob Simonsen, will also be available in Atmos on July 24, along with the digital deluxe edition soundtrack, which includes both songs and the score.

Constructing a soundtrack album is a gentle -- and perhaps lost -- art. This author is old enough to remember the 1990s heyday of movie soundtracks, when film producers would regularly license charting pop hits, obscure deep cuts, upcoming rappers, and underappreciated indie bands to construct carefully curated and meticulously produced albums that lived happily in your friends' cars all summer. As the music industry collapsed in the early 2000s, however, soundtrack records fell out of favor. Movie songs became mere playlists, neither arranged on a CD in any cogent order nor lending themselves toward a general thematic thrust. We '90s teens can now whine (as is our wont) that soundtrack albums are, in the '20s, rarely more than "pile of neat songs.

Millennials of the '80s and '90s can be nostalgic for many of the children's movies they grew up with. Disney ruled classic children's films back then as well, but there is another name that some fans might not realize actually created their favorite kid's movie. Originally working with Walt Disney, Don Bluth was an animator for films like Sleeping Beauty, The Fox and the Hound, Robin Hood, and The Rescuers. In 1983, he started his own company, which began animating video games and moved into film. Now an '80s icon, Dragon's Lair was Bluth's first video game.

Inspired by her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, Rockstar is the 49th full-length release from Parton, and features a variety of new originals and classic rock covers, as well as a heap of guest appearances by artists like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Ringo Starr, Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Debbie Harry, Nikki Sixx, and many more.
