Ella was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to parents of
Filipino descent. She began her career as a dancer and stems from 13
years of formal dance training. Ella was blessed with great success
throughout her 8 year professional dance career. She has performed on
stages all over the world and worked with many of the industries best.
Her talent and drive to succeed have given her countless opportunities.
Some of her favorite dance credits include: The Vancouver Grizzlies
Extreme Dance Team (NBA), Norwegian Cruise Lines, `Celebration Canada'
performing numerous times for the International Olympic Committee, a
principal performer for Roberge Productions and dancing with
`Transcendance' Company, as well as the Company of Nine. Although
having performed for the Queen of England and the likes of Kid Rock,
Pamela Anderson and other celebrities has been a highlight, her most
memorable experience, was having the honor of entertaining the Canadian
Armed Forces in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2003. Ella continues to pursue
her love of dance as a choreographer and guest performer for both stage
and film, and shares her talent as a dance instructor.
Her success as dancer has led her to a blossoming career in Film and TV. Having completed the program at Vancouver's renowned William Davis Centre for Actors Study, Ella currently studies under Warren Robertson of the Actors Studio. Early in her film career, she appeared alongside Jason Biggs in Saving Silverman and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Sixth Day. She also worked with Hillary Duff in Disney's The Lizzie McGuire Movie, as well as television appearances on the MTV series 2gether, The Chris Issak Show for Showtime, WB's The Mountain, and TNT's newest series Saved. You can catch Ella, starring as Josie on CBC's daytime drama series 49Th and Main. Ella still resides in her native city of Vancouver, British Columbia and is excited to explore writing for film, television and stage.
