In 1969, she was doing regular background work on Peyton Place (1964), playing a waitress at the series' Shoreline Cafe. She also served as a stand-in to one of the leads and had her own crew's chair with her name on it.
The name "Bo Peep" was bestowed upon her as a baby because she was so small, but as an adult she grew to be nearly 6 feet tall.
