She didn't have to audition for her role in
Lucio Fulci's
The New York Ripper (1982). She was at her home in Prague, Czechoslovakia, when she received a phone call from the producers and was hired on the spot. It wasn't until she arrived on the set and saw the script that she realized why it was done that way.
