Danna Kinsky(I)

Danna Kinsky is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Israel, she started shooting for Television during high school. Graduating from Tel Aviv University for Film and Television in 1999, with a focus in Cinematography, she moved to New York to work on large budget feature films as a camera trainee. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2003, she dedicated her passion to working as a professional cinematographer and camera operator. Now, with of over 25 years behind the camera, Danna has created award winning narrative films (7 international film festival awards), documentaries, music videos, commercials, branded content, reality TV, corporate videos, etc.

Her clients include ABC, APTN, WNBC, PBS, MTV, Fox Sports, Goldenvoice, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, American Cinematographer, Channels 1, 2, 10 and 8 in Israel, and many more.

Danna believes in the importance of community which has led her to be an active part of The International Female Collective of Cinematographers (ICFC) and The American Society of Cinematographers' Motion Imagine Technology Council. Her natural curiosity helps her research and develop new tools for the craft and immerse herself in cutting-edge technology such as HDR, VR and volumetric capture.

Danna's goal is to lens creative projects while collaborating with people that aim to move the heart, create new perspectives and make the world a better place. With projects completed in Galapagos, Ecuador, Israel, US, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Thailand and more, she aims to continue to travel the world.
