Arnold Kordyum was born on 13 July 1890 in Stanislau, Galicia, Austria-Hungary [now Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine]. He was a director and writer, known for Nepobedimyye (1928), Wind Across the Rapids (1930) and Jalma (1929). He died on 29 August 1969.
