- The actress Maria Krahn learnt her acting abilities at the acting school of Louise Dumont, afterwards she got her first engagement at the theater in Bochum. It followed other engagements in big cities like Frankfurt, Hamburg and from 1933 Berlin.
- After many years on stage she was developed by the film business at the beginning of the sound film era and Maria Krahn impersonated numerous support roles in popular productions in the next years.
- Besides her activity as an actress Maria Krahn was also busy as a dubbing artist.
- She was able to continue her film career after the war and she appeared in movies like "Das doppelte Lottchen" (1950) and "Gesprengte Gitter" (1953).
- Maria Krahn was married with the director Hans Hinrich. When he was not accepted at the Reichskulturkammer because he was a "Half Jew" he was not able to work. Maria Krahn intervened and was able to get a special permit for him temporarily.
