Her mother is Scottish and her father is French.

She is trustee of the 'Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund', a charity she helped set up in memory of her niece who died of cancer aged 15 in 2011. The charity has built a respite holiday home for families with children with cancer in Thornhill, Stirlingshire in Scotland.

Simone Lahbib is the Artistic Director of part time performing arts school, 'London Arts Academy'.
