Michael Landes
Born in the Bronx, New York, Michael Landes began his acting career at just sixteen, playing Winnie Cooper's boyfriend on the beloved series The Wonder Years. Since then, he has built a remarkably diverse career across film, television, and stage, working with some of the industry's most acclaimed directors and actors.

Michael can currently be seen in the Peacock limited series Lockerbie, opposite Academy Award® winner Colin Firth. He recently appeared alongside Mark Wahlberg in Lionsgate's Arthur the King, and portrayed crooner Vic Damone in the Paramount+ limited series The Offer, directed by Dexter Fletcher.

Television audiences will also recognize him as Greg Turner, a series regular in the award-winning drama Cruel Summer. Additional screen credits include Traitors (Netflix) opposite Michael Stuhlbarg, Amazon's You Are Wanted opposite Matthias Schweighöfer, the lead role in Sky's action-adventure series Hooten & The Lady, as well as feature films Angel Has Fallen with Morgan Freeman and Gerard Butler, and Luxor opposite Andrea Riseborough.

On stage, Michael recently appeared in All The President's Men? at the National Theatre, directed by Nicholas Kent. Other notable theatre work includes the lead in David Mamet's House of Games at the Almeida Theatre and the West End production of When Harry Met Sally, where he starred opposite Molly Ringwald.

Earlier in his career, Michael gained recognition for his role as Jimmy Olsen in Lois and Clark the New Adventures of Superman. Landes was also the star of the highly successful, cult-favorite Final Destination 2-most notably remembered for the film's iconic highway "log truck" sequence, one of the most talked-about scenes in modern horror cinema..

He played significant roles in acclaimed BBC dramas including Upstairs Downstairs, Silent Witness, and the comedy Love Soup opposite Tamsin Greig. As a producer, he co-created and starred in the Fox pilot Played, alongside Vanessa Kirby.

Michael continues to move fluidly between stage and screen, demonstrating a rare ability to handle both comedy and drama with ease, creating performances that are smart, versatile, and deeply engaging.

    • Trivia
Was replaced by Justin Whalin as Jimmy Olsen after the first season of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993), because the producers felt he looked too much like Clark Kent's little brother, instead of just a worker for the Daily Planet.
