Blue-eyed, brunette leading lady, trained at an acting school in Cologne, 1968-71. She made her debut in the year of her graduation at the Stadttheater Bielefeld. On screen from 1977, she has appeared in many films. Among her major success are Die flambierte Frau (1983), Anna's Mutter (1984), the TV series Heimat and the Kafka film Milena (1990). From the early 90's, increasingly seen as TV guest star, especially in crime series.
