- In preparing for the music video "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", there was a small budget so Cyndi bought furniture and painted the sets for the living room and her bedroom, found a tablecloth with a pattern to copy for the kitchen walls so it would have a very 1950s look, handed out her collection of sunglasses to all the girls for the shoot, and shared her makeup with all the women.
