We were so disappointed that Zero Hour wasn’t given more time to gain an audience, but at least were pleased when ABC announced that the entire first season would air this summer, including the first three episodes that aired in the winter.
Happily, ABC has now paired those episodes with unaired episodes from another gone-too-soon show from earlier this season, 666 Park Avenue, according to Deadline. As you know from the SciFiMafia.com Spring and Summer Primetime TV Schedule and the SciFiMafia.com Calendar, Zero Hour premieres Saturday, June 15 at 8/7c. 666 Park Avenue will join Zero Hour on June 22, following it at 9/8c and continuing weekly for three more weeks.
Excellent news, I’m So looking forward to summer Saturdays, these were great shows; thanks to ABC for airing the rest of the episodes.

"666 Park Avenue" was one of the biggest disappointments of the last TV season - both for viewers story-wise and for ABC ratings-wise. But fans of the show will finally have some closure when the network begins airing the remaining four episodes on Saturday, June 22nd.
Per TVLine the ill-fated spooker, which ABC pulled from the schedule following its December 2, 2012 broadcast, will reward loyal viewers with a finale on July 13. Speaking with the site recently, series star Rachael Taylor gave the final episode two very enthusiastic thumbs up, saying, “I love the ending. Everything gets completely flipped on its head, and it was very fun for me to play. My character is very different in the last episode. I’m really looking forward to people seeing the end, because shit gets crazy.”

Fans of ABC's cancelled series "666 Park Avenue" are going to now have a much longer wait before achieving any sort of closure as the network has suspended broadcasts of the show until the summer of 2013.
According to TVLine, instead of beginning to air the remaining episodes of "666" next month as originally announced, unaired installments won't arrive until the warmer months. Look for the exact dates soon.
“666 Park Avenue” stars Rachael Taylor (“Charlie’s Angels,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” Transformers) as Jane Van Veen, Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Reunion”) as Henry Martin, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill,” “Lipstick Jungle”) as Brian Leonard, Mercedes Masöhn (“The Finder,” “Chuck,” “Three Rivers”) as Louise Leonard, Helena Mattsson (Iron Man 2, “Nikita,” “Desperate Housewives”) as Alexis Blume, and Samantha Logan as Nona Clark, with Vanessa Williams (“Desperate Housewives,” “Ugly Betty,” Shaft, Soul Food) as Olivia Doran and Terry O’Quinn (“Lost,” “Millennium,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Alias,” “The West Wing,...

Despite the show's recent cancellation, fans of "666 Park Avenue" should still receive some closure when the series ends its run on ABC as executive producers David Wilcox and Matt Miller promise they are "building to a powerful and surprising series finale."
Wilcox and Miller told TVLine they were given enough time to turn their swan song into a series finale, adding, "We hope fans of the show continue watching all the way to the end of Jane and Henry’s incredible journey to the dark side... where all your questions will be answered.”
As luck would have it, DVR data released last week showed the ratings for the thriller’s November 4 episode spiking a staggering 77 percent — raising hopes that ABC might un-ring the cancellation bell. The news prompted leading man Dave Annable to vent on Twitter that ABC “f—ed up” by axing the series. But it’s a decision...

Despite its People's Choice Awards 2013 nomination for "Favorite New TV Drama" and ABC recently ordering a few more scripts for the series, the network officially gave "666 Park Avenue" the axe today.
Per Deadline, the plan seems to be for the series’ original 13-episode order to play out the way things did last season for "Pan Am" with ABC not shutting the door on the show completely, technically keeping it in consideration for next season, although we have to think such a scenario is highly unlikely given the low ratings "666" has received.
In the meantime we'll keep our eyes on the situation and let you know if anything changes.

We've been sporadic at best with our coverage of ABC's "666 Park Avenue," mainly because we didn't think it'd last long given its low ratings. In any event, here's a look at the show's upcoming guest star Whoopi Goldberg in character from Episode 1.09, "Hypnos."
"666 Park Avenue" - Episode 1.09 - "Hypnos" (12/2/12 airdate):
Jane is sent back in time when she is hypnotized by Maris Elder (Whoopi Goldberg); Henry considers running for city council; Sasha's identity is revealed.
Executive producer David Wilcox told TV Guide, Elder is "a mysterious resident of the Drake who helps Jane unlock the secret of the building's true evil origins. Whoopi's an incredible actor so when we heard that she was a horror fan, we wrote the role for her."

The ABC Network is showing a tremendous amount of faith in its devilish new horror show "666 Park Avenue," as it has ordered two more scripts for the series despite it tanking like a lead balloon in the ratings.
Synopsis:
At the ominous address of 666 Park Avenue, anything you desire can be yours. Everyone has needs, desires, and ambition. For the residents of The Drake, these will all be met, courtesy of the building’s mysterious owner, Gavin Doran. But every Faustian contract comes with a price. When Jane Van Veen and Henry Martin, an idealistic young couple from the Midwest, are offered the opportunity to manage the historic building, they not only fall prey to the machinations of Doran and his mysterious wife, Olivia, but unwittingly begin to experience the shadowy, supernatural forces within the building that imprison and endanger the lives of the residents inside. Now that the "666 Park Avenue" pilot has aired, we're looking forward to really getting into the meat of what the heck is going on behind the walls of The Drake, and this sneak peek of Episode 1.02, "Murmuration," reveals a bit more via a clip in which Jane makes a rather disturbing discovery.
"666 Park Avenue" - Episode 1.02 - "Murmurations" (10/7/12 airdate):
Jane makes a terrifying discovery about what lies behind the walls of The Drake as she begins to renovate Mr. Barlow's apartment. Meanwhile, Henry wrestles with whether he should tip Gavin off to inside information he has on one of his big projects, and lonely Drake resident Danielle Vincent gets a much needed assist from Gavin with a romantic tryst with a business associate of his. Finally, Brian struggles with his continuing temptation for Alexis, and Jane determines to continue her investigation of the mysterious door in the basement.

666 Park Avenue is my personal favorite new show of the season (though I haven’t seen Arrow yet) and I hope you’ll love it too. This poster gives an interesting twist to the campaign – get it? twist? – but should really be seen primarily as a metaphor. Don’t worry, the show won’t require you to take notes and study, it’s just pretty and creepily entertaining. Like the poster!
Presumably we’re getting this new poster because it includes the just-released premiere date, which we told you about earlier. Here’s your friendly reminder-as-to-what-it’s-about trailer and series summary:

You’ve seen the commercials. You’ve heard the hype. Now there’s only one thing you want to know: Which of the new fall shows are worth watching and which should be avoided at all costs? The Boilerplate: Since these pilot presentations may go through numerous rewrites and casting changes prior to premiere, this by no means should be considered an official review. Rather a preview of what one can expect come Fall.

We had a lot of fun with Erik Palladino in Dead & Breakfast so are glad to see him return to the genre in the new ABC series "666 Park Avenue", especially now that he's moved up from a guest appearance in the pilot to a regular, playing Tony DeMeo, a doorman at The Drake apartments.

Horror on TV has never been hotter, and everyone is scrambling to find the next big scary thing. Writer David Wilcox, who's worked on "Law & Order," ABC's "Life on Mars," and Fox's "Fringe," recently talked about how latest project, "666 Park Avenue", relates to the book and lots more.
According to Variety, when Wilcox met with Alloy Entertainment execs about adapting the book series 666 Park Avenue into a primetime series for ABC, he was encouraged to use the tomes as a jumping off point, not a blueprint. "They were very comfortable in departing from the book. I read the book and there are some interesting ideas in there, but I was encouraged to tell a very different story," Wilcox says of the series, which landed on ABC's fall schedule in the 10:00 Pm Sunday timeslot.

Yesterday was ABC‘s turn for upfront presentations, which meant that yesterday morning the network released its fall schedule and more detailed information about its new 2012-2013 series. We’ve been watching the development of 666 Park Avenue starring Terry O’Quinn for some time now, and had been keeping an eye on the alien comedy The Neighbors, but we got a wonderful surprise today when we saw the full description of midseason (meaning 2013) series Zero Hour starring Anthony Edwards.
We had been told that he played a skeptic whose wife gets abducted, but happily, as we found today, he is a “confessed paranormal junkie” and that he will be running ”a breathless race against the clock to find his wife and save humanity.” Ooo, save humanity! It’s also said to be a DaVinci Code-type hunt with ancient clues. What sealed it for me was the trailer, which we have for you.
