"Hi Mom"/"Family" was seen weekday mornings on WRCA TV Ch. 4 in NYC from Thursday August 15, 1957 to Friday March 20, 1959.

- On September 20, 2015, her husband Jeremy Tarcher died from Parkinson's disease. At the time of his death, he was age 83.
- In 1984, she was treated for breast cancer. In June 1998, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She had a hysterectomy, but doctors told her the cancer was inoperable and she had only eight weeks to live. Despite her declining health, she insisted on filming three final episodes of The Charlie Horse Music Pizza (1998). She was given chemotherapy treatment at the Cedars-Sinai Center in Los Angeles, but in doing so, she developed viral pneumonia and died on the night of August 2, 1998. Upon her death, The Charlie Horse Music Pizza (1998) was cancelled. The last episode of The Charlie Horse Music Pizza (1998) aired on January 17, 1999, what would have been her 66th birthday. Her body was cremated.
