Alfredo Li Bassi was born in Palermo, Sicily. He gained success by acting in "Mary per sempre" and "Ragazzi Fuori", by Marco Risi, which won him the Ciak d'oro Award. In 1992 he took part in two major productions: "Attentatuni" and "Vite Perdute". In 1994 he was in the film "Le Buttane" and, in 2002, in "Brancaccio". In 2003, he was in the tv series "Ultimo - L'infiltrato", with Raoul Bova and Tony Sperandeo, and, in 2006, in "Eccezzziunale Veramente - chapter 2 " by Carlo Vanzina, alongside Diego Abatantuono and Nino Frassica. In 2007, he acted as the protagonist in the film "È tempo di cambiare", alongside Tony Sperandeo and Annalisa Insardà, and in the tv series "Il Capo dei Capi", a mafia story of the boss Totò Riina. Among other tv series he was in: "Squadra Antimafia Palermo Oggi", "Il Commissario Montalbano - La danza del gabbiano", "I catturanti" and "Il romanzo del commissario Maltese", with Kim Rossi Stuart. In 2010 he worked with Terence Hill in the film "A un passo dal cielo" and with Ricky Tognazzi in "Boris Giuliano".
